Clore Wildfire Defense is a long-term fire retardant designed for areas prone to ignition, such as dry grass and brush. It may be sprayed and applied to natural substances months in advance, providing flame resistance in case of a fire. Clore Fire Retardant is one of the many tools that can be used to mitigate wildfire damage. We also suggest clearing unnecessary brush before applying Clore Fire Retardant. It should be reapplied after rainfall. Avoid spraying water on areas treated with Clore Fire Retardant. One mixed gallon of Clore Fire Retardant can cover approximately 200 square feet of land.

Directions:

The product comes in liquid form. Use a garden sprayer to apply Clore Fire Retardant in a 3- to 5-foot-wide perimeter around areas you want to protect. Do not spray Clore Fire Retardant directly on any structures. When not in use, keep Clore Fire Retardant in a tightly sealed container, out of sunlight and heat.

Benefits of Using Clore Fire Retardant:
  • Increased Protection – Clore Fire Retardant provides ignition resistance to treated areas. When a wildfire approaches, the treated vegetation and other cellulose materials are less likely to ignite, reducing the risk of fire spreading to property.
  • Reduced Risk of Fire Spread – Clore Fire Retardant can help slow the spread of a fire, giving you and your family more time to evacuate.
  • Peace of Mind – Clore Fire Retardant provides reassurance knowing your area has been treated with a fire-resistant coating.
It is important to note that Clore Fire Retardant is not a substitute for proper fire safety measures, such as having working smoke detectors and a well-planned evacuation route. Always follow local building codes and outdoor regulations when applying fire-resistant coatings around your home. We are not responsible for damages caused by our product, natural circumstances, or wildfires. Please refer to our safety data sheet and item specifics for more information.
